Always respect the 2-ton Working Load Limit. Remember that capacity is significantly reduced when the sling is used in a basket or choker hitch configuration. Always calculate the load based on the actual angle of lift.
● Inspect Thoroughly Before Each Use
Conduct a complete visual and tactile inspection of the entire sling before every operation. Look for cuts, abrasions, chemical damage, heat exposure (melting/burns), or excessive wear. Remove any damaged sling from service immediately.
● Protect from Sharp Edges and Hazards
Always use wear pads or edge protectors when lifting loads with sharp corners. Avoid exposure to chemicals, acids, open flames, welding sparks, and temperatures exceeding 80°C (176°F) to prevent material degradation.
