● Respect the Working Load Limit
Never exceed the 4-ton rated capacity. Be mindful that the effective capacity decreases when using the sling in a basket or choker hitch. Always calculate the load based on the actual lifting angle to prevent overloading.
● Inspect Before Every Use
Conduct a thorough visual and tactile inspection of the entire sling before each operation. Look for cuts, abrasions, chemical damage, heat exposure, or worn areas. Immediately remove any sling showing signs of damage from service.
● Avoid Damaging Conditions
Protect the sling from sharp edges and abrasive surfaces by using appropriate edge protectors. Keep it away from corrosive chemicals, acids, extreme heat, open flames, and welding sparks to prevent degradation of the material.
