The Wheel Straps with Flat Hook D Ring is a specialized tie-down accessory engineered for securing vehicles to trailers. Each strap consists of a 36-inch long, 2-inch wide heavy-duty polyester webbing with a break strength (BS) of 10,000 lbs. It features a uniquely designed flat hook integrated with a D-ring at one end, facilitating easy attachment to wheel rims or vehicle frames. The bright yellow webbing ensures high visibility, while the protective sleeve enhances durability and prevents chafing against vehicle surfaces. This accessory is designed to be used in conjunction with a standard 2-inch ratchet strap to complete a safe and effective tie-down system.

Precautions

● Must Be Used with a Compatible Ratchet Strap
This wheel strap is an accessory designed to create an attachment point and must be used together with a 2-inch ratchet strap to apply tension. Never rely on it alone as the sole securing device. Ensure the flat hook is securely and correctly engaged on a solid part of the wheel or frame, and the D-ring is properly connected to the ratchet hook.

● Conduct Pre-Use Inspection
Before every use, perform a thorough inspection of the polyester webbing for any signs of cuts, excessive wear, fraying, or chemical damage. Check the flat hook and D-ring assembly for deformation, cracks, or corrosion. Verify that the protective sleeve is intact and securely attached. Do not use the strap if any component appears compromised.

● Ensure Correct Application and Load Limits
Attach the flat hook only to sturdy, non-sharp points on the vehicle's wheel or designated anchor points. Avoid contact with brake lines, suspension components, or sharp edges. Adhere strictly to the 10,000 lbs break strength limit and understand that the working load limit is significantly lower. This strap is designed for transport tie-downs and is not rated for vertical lifting unless explicitly specified.
