Our 5/16" - 3/8" CM Ratchet Chain Binder is a high-performance load securement tool featuring a precision-machined screw and gear system. The "CM" designation signifies its robust carbon-steel construction, providing the ideal balance of weight and tensile strength. By allowing for infinite adjustment between the two hooks, this binder ensures a tight, vibration-resistant hold on everything from palletized building materials to light machinery.

Precautions

To maintain the highest level of safety during heavy-duty hauling, please observe the following:

● Verify Chain Grade: Ensure that the chain being tensioned does not exceed the binder's Working Load Limit (WLL). This binder is optimized for 5/16" G70 or 3/8" G43; using it with higher-grade 1/2" chains may lead to equipment failure.

● Keep Threads Clean: Due to its proximity to the road, the screw mechanism can collect road salt and grime. Regularly wipe down and re-grease the threads to ensure the ratchet operates smoothly and achieves full tension.

● Avoid Over-Tensioning with Power Tools: Only operate the ratchet handle by hand or with approved manual tools. Using an impact wrench on the binder mechanism can strip the internal threads and compromise the binder’s structural integrity.
